The house is located in the top of the village (barrio alto), in the oldest and most typical part of Trevélez. Since January 1, 2023, Trevélez has become one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Access is done by car through narrow and picturesque streets characteristic of the villages of Alpujarra and Andalusia. It can also be accessed very easily from the GR7 or GR240. The Casa de la Bombilla verde has been restored in the purest Alpujarra style, giving it a unique character and nothing like modern urbanizations.

Welcome to all. We are flattered to receive you in our small house located at the top of the village. The proximity of the fountains where the horses drink, the view of the mountains, the stone streets are all treasures to discover, in this small district of Trevélez, both original and authentic.

The area is very very safe for kids (and indeed for adults). The B&B is located in the higher district of Trevélez, kids can be free to run around, can go explore and see the horses which are also visible nearby the house. There is no traffic. There is a restaurant located at 100 m, La virgen de las nieves, but it is also interesting to walk down to the mid district of Trevélez at 400 m from the house, where you will find more restaurants and shops. Trevélez, very famous for its iberic ham is located in a rural area, you will not find shopping mall, fashion shops or trendy modern café. Outdoor activities such as, bicycle, horse riding and hiking (GR7- GR240, track to Mulhacen, is at the door of the cottage) are the main activities in Trevélez. Granada is at 1h20, you can also visit this very nice and typical Andalusia.
