Set in the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees, the house is in the heart of the Sant Aniol Nature Park in the Alta Garrotxa an hour away from Girona and the Costa Brava, two hours from Barcelona. Turquoise rock-pools, shaded paths, colourful limestone cliffs - come, explore and experience the magic of this valley. We are a family with two young children and live in the upstairs flat. We would like to share with you that there are moments in the day when the kids are at home and running around wildly. The impact soundproofing could be better. From approximately 21.00 our kids go to bed.

I am 40 years of age, originally from Germany, south of Munich. I now live in Spain near Figueres. It is one of the most beautiful nature parks in Europe. You must come and see it with your own eyes. Great trekking, climbing, wild swimming, cycling. The park is visited by over 40000 people annually for that reason. 3km up the road is a nice Restaurant called Hostal de Sadernes. Next bigger town is Olot, some 25 minutes drive from here. There is a good bus connection from Barcelona to Montagut ((URL HIDDEN) . You can arrange a pick up from the bus station agains a small fee. Services and common areas The apartment is fully private with it's own enterance and terrace. On site are a little cafe that is open during the summer season and sometimes on weekends. Guests may use our outdoor pizza and bread oven or our cosy fire place and bbq area. On weekends and during summer there are many visitors in the nature park. It is quiete in off-season and always in the evenings. The apartment is next to our outdoor education center and we sometimes host groups and programmes on site as well. We have had only positive experiences so far.
