Not far from our urbanization is Garrucha a cozy fisherman town with lots of restaurants and cafe's serving a large range of fresh fish and seafood specialties. There are local markets in Mojacar, Garrucha, Vera, Villaricos and others. At 15 minutes drive from Mojacar is Aquavera water park. The route to Carboneras is amazing, with stunning landscapes and curvy roads with different view at every corner. The most interesting attraction is Cabo de Gata which is one of the natural jewels in Andalusia. This nature reserve is located on one of the most beautiful and ecologically rich coastal strips in the western Mediterranean. With its beautiful pueblos and stunning, unique coves and beaches, Cabo de Gata attract every year a large influx of tourists. Mojacar playa has a very easy accessibility. Along the main street Paseo del Mediterraneo which is parallel with the sea you can chose the beach you like or one of the many restaurants or bars that are spread on both side of the road. Parking place is easy to find and is free of charge. Mojacar pueblo is rated as one of the most beautiful 10 villages in Spain. With its white houses, maze of narrow beautiful streets, every corner captivates and shows both the privacy of the past and the most beautiful horizons from viewing points.
