Company info

The Finca Son Sureda has an area of 1.500.000 m². It belongs for 350 years to the same family. Until the 90s, the Finca was dedicated exclusively to agriculture and livestock farming. At that time, due to the decline of agriculture on the Balearic Islands, it was decided to adapt the existing premises to agritourism. Equipped with all needs that quality tourism demands and preserving all traces of their past. In addition to the agritourism activity, Finca Son Sureda has continued with agriculture and livestock farming. For this, the largest existing carob plantation in the Balearic Islands has been projected, with the new technologies of its cultivation. As for livestock, the old rooms have been adapted for horse hospital and accommodation. Finally, a 1.6 MW solar power plant has been installed, with an area of 50.000 m², nearby the carob chopping industry, supplied by the farm's production and external supplies. Clients will be able to enjoy guided visits to all these activities.

On the Finca, you will find two pools and a children's pool, equipped with loungers and an outdoor shower. Also, you will find a soccer field, enclosed animals, and a children's playground with swings, sandpit, and climbing combinations. The animals can be fed under supervision and orientation, depending on the season. This combination offers relaxation for all travelers. For singles, couples as well as families with kids. Breakfast is served in our impressive hall, which was originally the old horse stable. You can choose whether to enjoy your breakfast inside or outside at the main courtyard. In the fall, adults can volunteer to take part in the harvest or just watch it. Are you looking for a relaxing holiday in contact with nature? At the Agritourism Finca Son Sureda, you will find the perfect accommodation for sure.

Neighborhood info

Are you looking for a sea breeze or urban life? From your accommodation on the Finca, you can easily visit the different sides of the island. Only 15 km away, bathers, surfers, and families with children can look forward to kilometers of sand beach: the Alcúdia Bay, with different sand beaches, like Colònia St. Pere, Son Serra de Marina and Playa de Muro. A kilometer long beach that extends until the Natural Park of the Península de Llevant. If you want to enjoy the blue sea even from above, drive to Betlem and hike 5 Km to the small hermitage. Of course, you can also go on more demanding hikes and mountain bike trips in the Natural Park of the Península de Llevant. The town of Manacor can be reached via the MA-3322 road, which is only 5 km from Son Sureda away. There you can visit the historic city center or the market on Monday morning. And if a visit to the cathedral in Palma is on your plan, you can park your car at the train station in Manacor and take the train or bus to Palma.
