Torres de Selma is a historical stronghold built on a rock in the mountains of Aiguamurcia in Catalonia, Spain. Its construction began around the year 945. Later, different areas have been added, amongst other the two towers that largely determine the silhouette of the building. In its long history Torres de Selma has been the residency of many different groups of people, including the Templars. During our renovation of the monumental mansion, all the authentic details have been preserved following as much as possible the same pattern of the original style. We also added new facilities like a separate treatment building, a multifunctional hall for yoga-classes and other activities, a swimming pool, a sauna and a restaurant. Part of the landscape around the house is under transformation into a park with walking paths, quiet corners and idyllic viewpoints which offer ample opportunities to intensively enjoy our beautiful nature.

A big dream ignited and an inspirational journey started when Torres de Selma was bought. We said goodbye to the Netherlands and Belgium, with all the convenience, and moved to Spain, land of the sun, to develop an eco retreat. Totally off-grid! We never expected it to be such an experience on all levels. The beautiful environment, the silence, the nature, the dogs and even the heavy workouts in the reconstruction with all the challenges made us appreciate even more all the achievements we did to make this Eco-Wellness-Resort as it is now. We like to welcome you and let you enjoy this pearl in the middle of nature.

Torres de Selma is situated about 4 kilometres from El Pla de Manlleu, a little village in Aiguamurcia. From the village a sandy and rocky dirt road meanders to our eco-valley. Our premises and the area around are less suitable for people in wheelchairs or with other mobility restrictions.
