If you are looking to explore the local area, the beaches on the west coast are some of the most impressive and beautiful of the island, such as some of our personal favourites - Cala Comte, Cala Bassa, Cala Salada and Cala De Bou, which are just a short drive away. The villa is just a 5-minute drive or 15 minute walk to San Antonio Bay, which has an excellent beach suitable for families. It is also home to the famous Ocean Beach Club, a large selection of bars, places to eat out and entertainment venues such as bowling, live music and water sports. San Antonio Bay is a great family resort as well as being fantastic for enjoying night life. From the Bay, you can get a water taxi across to San Antonio, or enjoy a 20-minute walk along the beach or promenade. Walking around you will pass many beach front bars, Ibiza Rocks Bar which is famous for its music and live sets through the summer, Linekers, Itaka, a selection of fun fair rides and the clubs of Eden and Es Paradis. San Antonio itself is a lively resort, it has a large mariner and port, with plenty of boat trips to choose from and hundreds of restaurants to dine at. It is pretty by day with fountains along the promenade and by evening has a choice of remarkable sunset venues, as well as being host to a large party scene by night on the West End. The capital of the island, Ibiza town, is a 25-minute drive away, where you can wander around the small boutiques, bars and museums within the old fortress, go shopping or have a meal out in a vast selection of restaurants. For those of you who want to enjoy the night-life of Ibiza, the nightclub Pacha is located here, you have a choice of stylish bars in the mariner, and Playa den Bossa is just 5 minutes away with the famous clubs of Hard Rock Hotel and Ushuaia.
