The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the historic "Ruuskanen's palace". Ruuskanen's palace is a residential and commercial building built by merchant Kaarlo Ruuskanen on the main street, Hämeenkatu, in Tampere. The Neo-Renaissance building was designed by Lambert Pettersson. Its first parts were made in 1892 and the last part in 1901. The merchant Ruuskanen got the idea to build a Neo-Renaissance "palace" after a honeymoon in Italy, and Petterson designed the building based on a photo taken by Ruuskanen in Italy. (Source: Wikipedia) The apartment has a view to Tampere's Hämeenkatu. The apartment is a 34m2 loft studio with a separate kitchen.

Neighbourhood information

The apartment is in the best possible location in Tampere. The house is next to Tammerkoski rapids and all the best restaurants, shops, historical sights and downtown services are literally next to the apartment. It doesn't get better than this when staying in Tampere!
