▪️Black Cabin Vierumäki is a cozy and well-equipped holiday home on the West Coast of Lake Suurijärvi, close to the versatile sports, exercise and leisure services of the Vierumäki Sports Institute. Black Cabin offers a great setting, whether you long for relaxation in the middle of nature, well-being from exercise or a comfortable remote workplace - just over an hour's drive from the capital region. ▪️Black Cabin is a modern, natural-colored, compact 60-square-meter log-built holiday home for winter living, with 2 bedrooms, living room kitchen, bathroom-toilet, sauna and a spacious covered terrace. The kitchen is well equipped, the air source heat pump and radiators ensure a suitable temperature all year round, and a 5G network connection connects you to the rest of the world. The shared beach of the holiday apartment area is about half a kilometer away. The holiday home has a smart lock, so handing over the Cabin is effortless. Cabin rules: ▪️ Bed sheets and towels are not included in the price. Customers bring their own sheets and towels. If you want to rent sheets and towels from the accommodation for an additional price of 15 EUR per person, contact the host well in advance. ▪️Minimum rental period is 2 days. ▪️Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. ▪️The cabin is not rented as a party venue. ▪️Pets are not allowed indoors. ▪️The accommodation may not be used by more people than what is mentioned in the destination information, unless it has been separately agreed upon. ▪️The lessee is responsible for damages during the stay and possible rent losses caused by repairs. Damages must be reported to the lessor immediately. ▪️ The rental price includes electricity and water consumption, which is considered reasonable. Exceptionally high consumption will be charged in accordance with the usage. Please use electricity and water responsibly. Electric car charging to be agreed separately, not included in the rental price.

▪️We are a sporty family from the capital region. We built our own happy place in Vierumäki 2023 near the activities of the sports institute. We are moved e.g by ice hockey, football, padel, floorball and tennis. Nature also attracts to jogging paths and swimming. We want to share our happy place with visitors when not using it by ourselves.

▪️In winter, the Light Ilves skiing route runs right next to the holiday home and in the summer you can cycle along the Ilves route in the middle of the wonderful nature to Heinola market or even to the harbor for a coffee. There are numerous nature and hiking trails in the area. You can start the morning by walking around the beautiful ridge landscape of Suurijärvi on the Lemmenharju nature trail, where you can stop for a swim or a lunch break at the Saarijärvi or at the Lemmensilta campfire site. Vierumäki's nature is diverse and varied, you can go hiking and picking berries directly from the yard. In winter, the Messilä ski center serves skiers only half an hour's drive away. ▪️Black Cabin is located in the vicinity of Vierumäki Sports Institute, where there is a wonderful setting for those who want activities - golf, tennis, padel, climbing, gym, swimming, athletics, guided exercise classes, skating and much more. Outside of the skiing season (spring-summer-autumn), you can get to the sport institute by car along the connecting road (Hiihtotie-Kammintie ~2km), but when the connecting road is used by skiers, the car route to the sports institute goes round via Suurijärventie (~10km). The walking route to the sports institute is maintained all year round. ▪️There are several restaurants in the area and they organize various events throughout the year - in the summer for example barbecue nights and concerts.
