We are a family-run unique boutique accommodation and home to the original Arctic Spa, all designed and built by us in the heart of Finnish Lapland. Foxfires is a destination where every detail is hand picked by us and every corner tells a story. Property information

Our guesthouse is made up of two individually designed private guest rooms each with a uniquely designed eu-suite bathroom. We have taken inspiration from Scandinavian interior design, Nordic nature and our location here in the Arctic. Our rooms make the most of our forest location with large floor to ceiling windows that allow you to feel at one with nature. In the evening you might be lucky to see the Aurora Borealis overhead. When you stay in the guesthouse rooms (Wolf and Polar Bear), the inclusive breakfast is served in our large open plan breakfast space where each morning you will be welcomed by us and also Gooseberry our Parson Russell Terrier. In the breakfast space with five meter high floor to ceiling windows at both ends of the room you can be in the forest whilst warm and cozy by the fire enjoying a freshly prepared breakfast. Our cabins are self-catered with fully equipped kitchens where you can prepare your meals but if you would like, you can order a breakfast pack too. The Ice Cube cabin is a 2 minute drive away from the guesthouse in an area of similar glass roof cabins. It has a heated glass roof, sauna and an outdoor private hot tub. Our new Orava cabin with huge windows and a fireplace is designed to provide you with a peaceful escape, where nature and comfort come together in perfect harmony.

Neighbourhood information

Finnish Lapland is a wonderful place with the cleanest air in the world plus Finns are said to be the happiest people in the world. Here in Lapland there are just 0.8 people per square kilometre. That means you can really feel that connection with unspoilt nature without interruption. Foxfires is set in Ancient forest on the southeast slope of Levi (the ski resort). It's an area of very few holiday cabins. We are just 300m from the ski slopes and trails. A good skier can ski in and ski out when the snow is good. We often get the Aurora overhead on clear nights and through the winter we get amazing views of the sunrise and sun sets that both take place on the southern horizon. The centre of Levi with its shops, restaurants and lively bars is just an 8 minute drive away.
