This property is on a family farm, 12 km outside Savonlinna and 10 minutes’ walk from Lake Pellosjärvi. It offers a private beach, a lakeside sauna and a summer restaurant. Lomamokkila’s accommodation options have wooden floors and private or shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Some include flat-screen TVs, while free WiFi is available throughout the property. Guests can book a traditional wood-heated sauna or enjoy free use of rowing boats on the lake. Volleyball, badminton, and tennis are popular summer activities. The farm’s own products are used in the breakfast and summer restaurant. During winter, guests can cross-country ski on the trails surrounding the farm. Snowshoes and bicycles can also be rented.

Lomamokkila provides an excellent setting for a holiday in Savonlinna in the heart of Saimaa lake area. You can choose Bed&Breakfast in rooms of high quality or enjoy peace and quiet in lakeside cottages all around the year. We also offer delicious meals and use our own products. In Lomamokkila you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of a genuine farm, use a rowing boat or go to the sauna by the lake. The surrounding region offers you a lot to see and experience – you can reach Savonlinna in fifteen minutes by car and Punkaharju as well as the National Parks of Linnansaari and Kolovesi in less than an hour. Lomamokkila has long traditions in accommodating guests. Now you will be welcome by the fourth generation. The farm has received recognition for a high quality and has been awarded several prizes. Lomamokkila is our home, and guests have been welcome here for almost 40 years. The farm has developed into a loved holiday destination of a high quality. Our children are privileged to grow up in a unique environment, because they are able to meet people from different countries and cultures in their own home. They are able to take part in their parents’ working day and help them. At the moment they are planning a pancake bar for next summer.
Our farm is 12 km from the center of Savonlinna. There are plenty to do and discover in the neighbourhood. Savonlinna is just 15 min drive, Punkaharju and Kerimäki as well as Linnansaari and Kolovesi national parks closeby. In our farm you can enjoy lake, forest and farmyard, socialise with our family or other guests or enjoy privacy of your own.
