This magnificent wooden house has room to accommodate friends or family. YOU CAN RENT ONE, TWO OR ALL THREE BEDROOMS UPSTAIRS. We live in the bedrooms downstairs. The other facilities in the house are shared with our family and the guests staying in the house. PLEASE NOTE THAT BEDDINGS AND TOWELS ARE AVAILABLE FOR AN EXTRA CHARGE. It is easy to come to stay from Highway 21/E8 on your way to north or south. The services of the village are within walking distance. The spacious yard is charming and peaceful. The house offers splendid views of the surroundings. Biggest bedroom upstairs (24 square meters) with wide double bed and bunk bed. Alcove bedroom (19 square meters) with wide double bed and sofa bed, behind separate door in the alcove 120 cm bed. Both bedrooms comfortably accommodates 1-2, more closely 3-5. Third bedroom is cute tiny bedroom with slooped roof and single bed. Mattresses available as extra beds. Upstairs there is SHARED BATHROOM - WC and a small hallway. In the hallway, you can sit in the rocking chair made by house's host and enjoy stunning view all the way to Sweden. We have toys, books and games for kids. BEDROOMS ARE PRIVATE SPACES, THE OTHER AREAS OF THE HOUSE ARE SHARED (one storage upstairs is in owners use). YOU ALSO HAVE ACCESS TO THE LARGE OPEN KITCHEN AND SAUNA. We are Jenny and Ville. We accommodate our guests in wonderful wooden houses in Muonio. We have Guesthouse Ollinmäki and Villa Ollinmäki. In the guesthouse's yard area, we also have a Motorhome & Caravan Parking area for wheeled homes. Renovating our homestead and the guesthouse is a creative process that constantly offers us experiences. Ville enjoys repair and maintenance work, while Jenny practices and learns them under Ville's guidance and also engages in rental activities in Ylläs at four locations; she has become infatuated with the fells, the old mountains of Lapland. Being in nature and having pious humor colors our lives. We are pleased to serve our customers and create unique experiences for them at our locations. We gladly make contact with our guests, if they wish so. The houses are also our homes; we mainly live in the lower part of Villa Ollinmäki. The houses have the genuine atmosphere of wooden houses. We may have children at home, they love our guests and other´s children are welcome too. Our cat lives outside in the summer and inside in the winter. Your pet is welcome when Sheeba is outside (during thaw time). Our houses have been renovated since 2013 and 2015, finishing work is still being done at Villa Ollinmäki. In houses of this size, there is always something to do, we hope you enjoy the authenticity of the houses and our home, we have not yet succeeded in finishing everything but we are doing our best to make you feel comfortable in the unique rural atmosphere of Villa and Guesthouse Ollinmäki. The accommodation is located near the Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park. The Olos ski center and its mountain area with ski trails are 7 km away from the site. There are also dining services in Olos, with Takka and Kammari serving customers at the foot of the fel (the old Lappish mountain). The slopes and mountains of Pallas are a little over 30 km away. In this area there are lots of activities to do. The nature and the stillness are offering their bests. The area has several natural attractions and a comprehensive network of hiking trails. Harriniva offers experience services in Muonio, while Jerisjärvi is home to a famous sauna world where you can enjoy various saunas and take a dip in an ice hole. The snow restaurant provides a wonderful Arctic dining experience, and at Torassieppi, you can join reindeer and husky safaris. Ylläs and Levi are 60 km away. Both offer more services. In these Finland's largest ski resorts visitors can enjoy spas, bowling, adventure parks, Frisbee golf, and various evening activities and concerts in addition to the ski slopes, ski trails, and nature experiences. In the immediate vicinity of the accommodation, there are services in the village of Muonio, two grocery stores, a library, and a gas station. Access to the ski trails and snowmobile route network is available near the accommodation. You can drive to Sweden for a day trip, and you can also take a day trip to Kilpisjärvi by car. You can accommodate yourself easily here on your way to the north or south. It is easy to come from the road E8 to us, we are located by the peaceful villageroad. Welcome!
