Property information

The apartment is in the centre of Tórshavn. It is on the 3. floor, overviewing Skansin from the bedroom (the Old Fortress) and the tip of the old town from the kitchen window. Right next to apartment there is a wonderful bakery with organic sourdough bread and only a few minutes up the road there is a minimarked open until 11 pm. Almost everything is only a few minutes walk away, the old town, the old bookstore, restaurants and cafe's, shopping and the harbour area, where you can buy fresh fish. The neighbourhood is quite and friendly. You will be able to relax, explore and enjoy:)

Neighbourhood information

Our guests enjoy the location, living in the centre so close to everything. We recommend you start your day by picking up some organic sourdough bread right next door, then you could just take a walk around the town into the small alleys and then enjoy a cup of coffee at the Panama Café in the old bookstore. After that you could go through the park to the national art gallery, where you can enjoy faroese art, both older and newer. There we recommend you buy postcards and/or posters; it is art and actually very cheep. For lunch we recommend Bitin or Umami. After you have enjoyed the afternoon breeze at the old fortress we recommend you eat dinner in the Old Town at Áarstova; Fútastova or Barbara.
