I live with my son and our cat Griffith in a simple and welcoming house. I'm very keen to make travelers feel at home with us. It's not fancy, but you'll feel at home here. Your room is comfortable, the bathroom and toilet are privatized.
Our cat doesn't fit in the room, and we can't accommodate our animal friends as Griffith is rather possessive of the premises.
My wish is that you had the feeling of a parenthesis while passing by us, in all simplicity.
Our choice is to live a little away from the city center, but with shops and useful devices nearby. No surprise, we live in the city, with its movements of life.
Come with your anecdotes, your passions, I will be happy to share my experiences with you.
In order to better welcome you, I invite you to communicate your arrival time as soon as you know.
Welcome to you
Multicultural district. you will find shops open every day (grocery store, supermarket and greengrocer open Monday to Saturday and a supermarket open 7/7 to 3 minutes by car). Three supermarkets and a drive within 10 minutes, restaurants and fast food nearby. Two markets with local products less than 7 minutes by car.
Make sure you can install the M'tiket application on your phone for ticket purchases used for bus journeys. No tickets sold on buses. For streetcar journeys, you'll find ticket machines at the stops.
In the evening, if you're not driving, a pizzeria serving salads and meals is just a 10-minute walk away.
Nearby, two very pleasant parks where you can walk, picnic and discover the Mediterranean flora.
You will reach the city center of Montpellier by car (Please note that Montpellier is in a Critair zone, so remember to buy your vignette before coming ), but it is strongly recommended to take public transport. Bus and tram very accessible.
Beware of people who have to take a train before 7am. Trams and buses start their activity after 5:20 am. So access to the station around 6:15 am. See the website of TAM Montpellier.
