Belle Vallee is a Maison du Maitre built in 1800. A gift from Napoleon to one of his generals our house is a magnificent example of classic Normandy architecture. The fireplace in the dining room is an additional present from Napoleon. We have five bespoke rooms, all ensuite with views over the gardens and countryside. The spacious guest lounge is hub of the house relax with a cup of tea and cake in front of the fire. In the summer profit and enjoy the beautiful garden. There is also a gite and a ground floor studio situated on the estate. Table d'hote dinner is available in the summer months. Please remember to book 48 hours in advance for dinner. Belle Vallee is situated in rural Normandy, once an old farm, the property is situated down an old farm track.

We are professional hoteliers who decided to decamp to France to offer a personalised service to our guests. We have 3 gorgeous boys who loves meeting our guests. Richard loves cycling. We have 3 cats who love a cuddle. We enjoy our garden and you are welcome to walk around it and take a picnic in the grounds.

Domfront is an historically important medieval town. The ruined chateau dominates the town and is well worth a visit. The old medieval town is a living history of a past life. The region is famous for poire - pear cider - and Camembert cheese. Surrounded by rolling green hills, perfect for cycling and walking.
