This is our family home in the mountains that we have owned for 9 years. We love our home, but we can't get to it as often as we would like, so we decided to rent it out to families who share our love of the mountains. Outside, we have an enormous deck with furniture, with a spring free trampolene, climbing ropes and other child-friendly attractions. When it comes to cooking, enjoy the BBQ outside or the amazing new kitchen with all the appliances you would expect. We know that downtime is important. There is a hot-tub (jacuzzi) for six, and lots of plastic glasses for you to use in the water. We have a big, connected tv in the lounge, in the adult bedrooms and on the landing. That's 5 tv's, each with either/and netflix, sky tv, apple tv+, disney+, amazon prime, orange (francaise seulement) Nearby... the biking and skiing paradise that is the Portes du Soleil. A 15 minute walk takes you to our local waterfall (visible from the chalet), 2 minutes in the car to the nearest pub and 5 minutes to a multitude of award winning family friendly restaurants.

Stay with us and enjoy our home... and treat it like your own home. We welcome kids especially, and dogs too, but watch out for the cleaning fee for dogs! It's a dog friendly home and we welcome you to it. Please ask if you would like anything special upon arrival. We have an amazing caretaker who lives in the separate apartment downstairs who can help you with cleaning, or other tasks on request for additional fee. You will need to leave some space for his car on the driveway, and he has access to the cellar, but otherwise, he is a private person and you will not see him if you don't want to!

It's a quiet neighborhood, and you will need your car to visit a bar or restaurant. We are surrounded by amazing walks, hikes, mountain bike trails, and in winter, of course, the amazing chatel and portes de soleil ski area... apparently nowhere bigger in the world. In the next village, there are several award-winning restaurants, with more dining options in Chatel as well. You can hire skis (or bikes in summer!) etc at any of the local hire shops, and the Intermarche (supermarket) is less than 5 minutes' drive from the house. Further afield, Thonon Les Bains is 30 minutes' drive, as is Evian. Cross over to Switzerland for the day and visit Montreux, Bex, Verbier etc.
