Chalet Heron is a beautiful 17th-century 3-story farmhouse full of rustic charm that invariably captures the hearts of those who visit. Located in the middle of nature but only a 5 min drive away from the Chamonix center, it’s an ideal setting for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The Chalet's beautiful, large garden provides ample privacy and ability to enjoy outdoors, whether sunbathing, BBQ, picnics, playing games or building snowmen. The Chalet has 3 completely independent, full-floor, standalone and fully equipped apartments with their own entrances. The Apartment 2 with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is spacious with over 100m2 of indoor space covering the entire 2nd floor of the Chalet. It has a large balcony that enjoys sunshine throughout the day and a separate terrace with dining table to enjoy outdoor breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. The Apartment 3 with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is spacious with over 100m2 of indoor space covering the entire top floor of the Chalet and comes with a large balcony that provides incredible views of Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Midi. The apartment is airy with almost 4-meter room height at the highest point and was fully renovated in 2020.

The Chalet is located at the end of a quiet private road with a large garden and breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and Aiguille Du Midi. It takes about 5 minutes to drive to either Chamonix or Les Houches centers. Chamonix ski lifts are a short drive away: Brevent ~5 minutes, La Flegere ~10 minutes and Les Grands Montets ~15 minutes. Bellevue (Les Houches) ski lift is only a couple of minute drive away. Chalet provides a great base with easy access to other popular mountain resorts including Megève (45 minutes with car), Courmayeur (30 minutes) and Verbier (75 minutes). If you are arriving to the Chalet in the winter with a car, we strongly advice using winter tyres or chains in case heavy snowfall. There are two restaurants that are within walking distance (2 minute and 5 minute walks, respectively). A supermarket (Super U) is a 10 minute walk (2 minute drive) but also offers online shopping and home delivery option. If you don't have a car, the bus system works well to get around the Chamonix / Les Houches area, including accessing the various ski areas, and is free of charge. The Taconnaz bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the Chalet.
