it is a very peaceful place aside the river vienne and has a restaurant a small walk away and there's a Riverside picnic area and a bar to enjoy a beer and a pizza or roast chicken aside the beautiful river vienne There is plenty to see and do in the village, if you want more of a town life the parent town of st Germain de confolens is confolens as it lies 5km up river, a beautiful medieval town with its 8thc Roman bridge , many bars and restaurants and other entertainment including kayaks pedalos, paddle boards during summer months to enjoy the river.
