Welcome to Chez Nous – Our Home in the Heart of France At Chez Nous, you're not just booking a place to stay — you're truly a guest in our home. Nestled in the peaceful French countryside, our lovingly restored 1850 farmhouse offers a haven of simplicity, tranquility, and genuine hospitality. We are Carina and Addie, and together with our animals – our dog Ben, cats Sien and Marie, chickens, and a cheerful group of ducks – we warmly welcome you. In 2023, we followed our hearts and moved to France to create a place where people can land, rest, and reconnect with themselves. Carina has worked for many years in youth care, addiction treatment, and mental health support. Addie spent his career in construction and now uses his skills and craftsmanship to bring new life to our home. Everything you see here has been built or restored with care and attention. 🌿 What Makes Chez Nous Special? A Warm Atmosphere & Personal Touch We believe in real connection. No formal check-ins here – just a warm welcome, a genuine chat, or quiet space if that's what you prefer. Characterful Comfort Our rooms, the fully equipped caravan, and glamping tent are styled with love and simplicity. Not luxurious, but cosy, thoughtful, and full of charm. Among Chickens and Chestnut Trees Wake up to birdsong, relax under the walnut tree, and step straight into the quiet countryside from our garden. Small Touches that Feel Like Care Enjoy a carefully prepared snack platter with local products, a good book, a fireside chat – or the freedom to simply do nothing at all. 💬 Guests often tell us: "This place is a breath of fresh air."
