Our cottage has been created from an old farm bakery. It has modern facilities in a rustic building. We are surrounded by peaceful countryside so you can have a relaxing holiday. The cottage is ideal for house hunting in the area or exploring Normandy. It has electric heating and a wood burner for cosy nights in. Please note the property has a spiral staircase and is not suitable for very young children or those with mobility issues.

We are English, but try hard to converse in French! We have worked hard to renovate our property and are keen to share it with you. We are bikers, and can offer secure storage for your motorcycles and point you to some great biking routes. We also have some vintage cars - you are more than welcome to view them and chat.

Our cottage is situated in beautiful countryside, with stunning views. The towns of Sourdeval and Mortain are only 10 minutes away, and within an hour there are great places to visit - Mont St Michel, Granville, the landing beaches, Bayeux, Clecy, Lassay-les-Chataux, 2 Zoos, Lake du Dathee, Fosse Arthour. We have explored a lot of the area and we are happy to suggest itineraries for days out. If you like wildlife, keep a look out for deer, red squirrel, boar, badgers, foxes and even pine martins! We have a trail camera set up, and often see nocturnal animals. There are lots of birds including owls and hoopoe. The cottage has a small enclosed garden within the main garden so ideal for dogs. There is garden furniture and a BBQ.
