Gite de l'Œil can sleep up to 6 people, with two double rooms and a twin. The large attic double room has an en-suite shower room. The accommodation is of a very high standard with modern facilities. There is a well equipped fitted kitchen and a large, open plan sitting & dining room. Guests can enjoy access to our extensive gardens, with patio and secluded areas where you could enjoy a good book. There are many walking and cycling routes which can be accessed from your doorstep.

Bonjour! We have lived in l'Œil since December 2020 and spent this time renovating the original farmhouse to a stylish gite, which retains many original features. The renovations have been carried out sympathetically, to maintain the original charm of the house, while incorporating many modern features to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable stay. Gary has carried out the restoration almost single-handedly. Many of the fixtures and fittings in the property he made, using wood recycled from the barns and garden. You will be charmed by many of the unique features he has included. We would be glad to welcome you to Gite de l'Œil to enjoy this area, which we have fallen in love with. Set in a rural and quiet location, you will wake to birdsong each morning and fantastic views over the Valley of the Gartempe.

Gite de l’Oeil is found in the beautiful hamlet of l’Oeil, just 5 minutes from the village of Fursac. We are located in the department of La Creuse, which is named after the river La Creuse; a part of the Limousin region. In this green and low populated area countless streams run through a landscape of hills and vales, woods and fields.
