The villa is set within the picturesque village of Agnes-Minervois amongst the vineyards, and within walking distance of the Canal du Midi. It’s half-way between Carcassonne and Narbonne. Its open plan practical layout makes it a great space for relaxing with friends and family. The enclosed outside garden spreads around the villa. The pool is perfect for cooling down, there’s a large wooden decking for sun-worshippers, a Boules piste and a perfect spot on the terrace for alfresco dining. The villa is ideal for socialising with an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area leading out onto a covered terrace. With 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor it’s practical for those not wanting to take the stairs. One of the ground floor bedrooms has sliding doors out to the garden. The first floor has a further two bedrooms and bathroom, one of which leads out to a covered balcony area with beautiful views. The villa is surrounded by a fenced Mediterranean garden with fruit trees and shrubs. There’s a BBQ, Boules piste and swimming pool with steps (not heated). A car is advisable as it’s a 5 minute drive to the nearest town of Lezignan Corbieres.

The medieval village of Argens-Minervois overlooks the UNESCO Canal du Midi and the river Aude. Here you'll find; ruins of a 14th century chateau, 2 restaurants overlooking the canal, bar, 3 wine estates offering wine tasting, playground, tennis court, church, marina with boat hire, artisan bakery, pottery workshop, olive farm and shop, a bakery van visits the village daily apart from Mondays. There are walks and cycling routes from the village; along the canal, around Lac des Aiguilles or up into the local hills. The villa sits sbetween the UNESCO site of Carcassonne and Narbonne on the Mediterranean coast. The closest airports are Beziers and Carcassonne. The nearest town Lézignan-Corbières has a train station and several supermarkets. Olonzac has a weekly market and a shaded park. Narbonne has a huge, covered food market; Les Halles and not far from there you’ll find stretches of sandy beaches. At Narbonne national park you can observe flamingos, visit the salt farms and eat fresh oysters at the fishing village, Gruissan. The area has many swimming opportunities; lakes, wild swimming and outdoor pools. The area is rich with history; cathar castles and majestic abbeys.
