L'Olivier de Milou is a traditional fisherman's house in the village of Le Bois Plage en Re on the Ile de Ré which has recently been assigned "3 stars" by the tourism board of Charentes Maritime. The Petit Sergeant, Gollandieres & Gros Jonc beaches are a 5-10 minute bike ride. The village center is approximately 1 km away. On the ground floor is a large living and dining area with an open kitchen and direct access to the garden. In the kitchen you will find a dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and blender. Since June 2024 l'Olivier de Milou is equipped with a high debit fibre connection and well suited for a longer workation. In addition to the cozy fireplace, the living room has access, DVD player, surveillance powers and - for the cooler days - direct access to the sauna (for a fee). On the ground floor there is also a large bathroom with toilet, shower and bathtub, a guest toilet and a small library. The four bedrooms are located on the 1st floor, the master bedroom has its own shower. The garden - which is neither visible nor accessible from the street - provides sheltered locations and areas for relaxation and sunbathing.

After many holidays together with friends, we realized our dream of having our own holiday home in 2011. The island is a very special place for our whole family and we are happy to share this enthusiasm with our guests

Le Bois Plage en Ré is located almost perfectly in the middle of the island and conveniently placed to enjoy the endless beaches far from the bridge. The village is inhabited all year round and has thus retained great vitality and authenticity. Beach, neighboring towns, surf and tennis schools, small cafes and beach bars can be easily reached by bike, in addition to the market and a bakery there is a small supermarket Carrefour Contact in the village, so that holidays without car are easily possible. The beaches in the north but also the nearby La Rochelle can be reached in about 30 minutes.
