La Barrat is an old, picturesque farmhouse with two luxury 2 person gites & pool set in 40 acres overlooking a valley leading down towards a peaceful fishing lake. We are just outside a small hamlet & only 2 km from the medieval town of Issigeac. We are situated in a region renown for it's bastide villages and towns and we are less than an hours drive from Sarlat to the east and St Emilion to the west. Le Sechoir, an old prune drying oven sits close to our farmhouse, the second gite, La Creche is in a restored section of our beautiful Perigourdine barn. Both have high quality accommodation & private terraces.
After numerous working years in Paris, we were looking for a pleasant resort with a soft and sunny climate and a happy, active and welcoming population to live and work finally on the open air.
