La Barre is a little village in the french countryside. Our Tiny house is located at the bottom of our 1 ha organic vineyard. Here you find absolute peace and quiet, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is the ideal place for people loving nature, birds, walks, cycling and farming. The Tiny house is completely self-contained. It is beautifully furnished and an attached veranda with sitting arrangements and barbecue, which offers a stunning view over the vineyard. The house is having 2 open platforms and you have to use a small ladder to reach there. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR SMALL CHILDREN OR PEOPLE LESS AGILE! 1 sleeping platform is having a comfy Futon with Tatami mat (size 2x1,6 meters), the opposite platform is having a chair, cupboards and some books. A little wood burner is also installed, so you can have a cozy fire going in autumn and winter. The Tiny house is approximately 150 meters far from our main house, which gives you all the privacy you want. You can park your car on our property BUT NOT NEXT TO THE TINY HOUSE. You have to walk down the way through the vineyard to your accommodation, which is approx. 150 meters. We can help you to bring your luggage down to the Tiny house if you like. We keep on our farm sheep, geese, chickens and 2 cats. You will see and hear our animals from a distance. For that reason no pets are allowed. The Tiny house is having a Wlan router, with limited Data to use for free. You can use your own simcard to connect your devices. The coverage of the common french and European networks are good. Our main house is connected to fibre cable, which can also be used if needed. A washing machine can be used in the main house as well a freezer.

We, Oliver and Rahel, like to make you happy and comfortable staying with us. We have a small Wine business and produce our own natural wine. The work in and with nature is most rewarding and we love what we are doing. We have a big vegetable garden, and in season you can get fresh products from us.We both have traveled around the world, and we found our home here in France. We are relaxed and laid back people and we treat our guests with respect and politeness which we also expect from our guests.

If you like to stay in our Tiny house, you should know that it is absolutely peaceful and quite. We are located in the National Park "La Brenne" and there are a lot of activities provided for tourists and guests. The only way to reach La Barre is by car. Argenton-sur-Creuse is the next railwaystation, 27 km far from us. Trains from there go directly to Paris (Gare d'Austerlitz) in 2,5 hours. The distance to Limoge and Poitiers Airport is around 90 km. The next villages with Boulangerie, Pharmacie and little groceries store are Belabre, Lignac and Prissac, 15 minutes far from La Barre. In Belabre you will find a lovely swimming pool and you can start a canoe trip up the river. The next bigger cities are Le Blanc and Argenton-sur-Creuse, both 30 min by car. You are close to the Loire Valley with all its beautiful Chateaux and historic towns and villages.
