La Cachette is a little dream, 680 meters high in a gorgeous 13th Century village. The 180 degree views south to the Mediterranean are spectacular. There are steps and slopes and if you are infirm or unfit, this location is not for you. Parking is available close by in several locations. This means you will need to carry luggage and shopping a?short distance to the property. The house is well equipped, nicely furnished and very peaceful. Master bedroom suite with wet room and a second bedroom with a double bed and an adult sized bunk bed. The mattresses are high quality luxury as is the linen. The kitchen was replaced in July 2020 and is fully equipped with a fridge freezer, induction hob and oven. From the village you can visit many places from beaches in Monaco, Italy and France. St. Tropez is not far away. The airport at Nice is 40 minutes away. The village is active with a small shop, hotel with bar and restaurant. Contes is 9km down the hill and has everything you will need including a bank, chemist, bakers, butchers, flower shop, restaurants, cafe and an open air swimming pool. The mountain walks and views are amazing and you can start your walk from the house.

I love France but live in England. I have travelled the world thanks to my business and interests. I enjoy travelling and exploring on my motorbike or in a hot air balloon. I am an easy going chap who is up for adventure. I love the peace and escape that my home in France provides. I hope you do too. Do please bear in mind that this is a mountain village hence the stunning views. There are steps and slopes and you park your car 2-3 minutes away and walk with luggage and shopping to the property. I have had guests recently who have false limbs (prothetist) and they have complained! A message to me prior to booking would have avoided their complaints and my frustration. The stupidity of some folk is off the scale but what can i do?

What a guest wrote recently, Very nice place to stay Newly redecorated house that has all the facilities we could possibly hope for. Very fine beds and a well equipped kitchen. Not to mention the breathtaking view from the house and the charming village with narrow winding streets.... you have to carry your stuff from the car but that’s a fair cost! Berre les Alpes is a lovely village, vibrant with many characters. It has a bar, restaurant/cafe. there is a small convenience store. It is famous for the world class Super Bear recording studios and many great names visited the village to record some of the greatest rock and pop music produced including Queen, Pink Floyd, Elton John, David Gilmour , Paul McCartney, Kate Bush, The Police. The bijou village is located in the foothills of the Alpes Maritimes, nr Nice. It is close to the buzzing nightlife of Monte Carlo and the beaches of the Cote d'Azur. In all it is peaceful and a relaxing way of life. Please be aware the village is on top of a hill 680m. There are steps and slopes and you need to walk with luggage and shopping from a parking area to the house. It is not for infirm/disabled/unfit guests. Please message me for info.
