After leaving our lives in Toulouse for a new adventure, we brought La Maison Normande back to life, a place we have lovingly renovated with care and passion. As trained chefs, specializing in both cooking and pastry, we aim to offer you much more than just a stay: a unique experience combining comfort, conviviality, and gourmet flavors, all within the idyllic setting of La Maison Normande. Our goal is to share with you the pleasures of homemade cooking, using local and seasonal ingredients, and to make your stay truly unforgettable. Nestled in the heart of the Jordanne Valley and the Monts du Cantal, La Maison Normande is a charming bourgeois mansion made of volcanic stone. Built over three floors between 1910 and 1912 and recently renovated, the house offers four suites and spacious communal areas where guests can unwind and slow down their pace of life in the Cantal.

La Maison Normande is ideally located for exploring the Cantal and the magnificent Jordanne Valley and the Monts du Cantal. Numerous sporting activities are available all year round: cycling, mountain biking, hiking, trail running, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing... The possibilities are endless. The Lioran ski resort is just 30 minutes from the house, while the GR400 can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car. There are also a number of hiking routes that start directly from the village. As well as sporting activities, the Cantal is full of historical and cultural treasures, with Aurillac and its international street theatre festival, Salers and its picturesque medieval streets, its castles (Tournemire, Pesteils), not forgetting the famous Garabit Viaduct designed by Eiffel.
