Build on 2 small floors with just 2 bedrooms, one enjoying a terrace, perfect for sampling a good bottle of Bergerac. 1 bedroom, Le Colombier, with a garden terrace, small garden, private shower and toilet. 1 spacious bedroom, Roxane, has a small sitting room, with bathroom and toilet. Very quiet yet in the center of the historic district of Bergerac, near the Dordogne river where you will sail on a barge or canoe, following the course of the river. A very different medieval house, in contrast to modern hotels and rented rooms in Bergearc. A copious continental breakfast is served by your host every morning, at your convenience, between 8:00 and 10:00. After a quiet night, your day will get off to a perfect start and you can learn with your host the many sites to discover, walks to take, interests to explore. For gourmet breaks, your host will be there to give you expert advice.

Your hosts, Olivier and Alain are continuing the tradition of this charming XVI century Bergerac house which had been kept previously by Betty and David over the past 18 years. Their goal is to make you love this place, enhancing your enjoyment of Bergerac and its region, whose rich heritage is revealed in its history, culture, culinary tradition, and wine. Alain in particular will be present during your stay. Your welcome will be convivial, with a glass of local wine. If you are passionate about archeology then you will be thrilled. The decoration of the house has been enriched, respecting and in keeping with the authenticity of the place.

Located in the town center with parking nearby, the house is located in the oldest district of historic Bergerac in a lovely garden square where public benches await you for a quiet pause. Very close to museums (skippers and tobacco), and some great wines houses, there are also many events which enliven the summer in Bergerac. Whether in concerts along the Dordogne, walks or barge rides, discoveries in small pedestrian streets near the house, you will most certainly enjoy your stay. The area is rich in restaurants showcasing the local cuisine and the wines of Bergerac, Monbazillac and Pécharmant. The open air market, held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, is an absolute must.
