Le Jarrier is in a lovely rural setting yet within easy reach of a wide range of tourist attractions and activities. The gite has a large private garden and lovely views of the surrounding countryside. There are two bedrooms, one on each floor and two w/c's the first in the ground floor shower room and the second is an en-suite off the 1st floor double bedroom. We have Free WIFI, UK freesat & French TV channels in the lounge / conservatory and it is SMART / WIFI TV. Le Jarrier Gite kitchen, recently updated in 2024 is very well equipped, including a washing machine, fridge with a good sized freezer, dishwasher, microwave and Dolce Gusto and standard filter coffee machines, kettle, 4 slice toaster, hand blender, etc. There is a gas BBQ in the very large gite garden, plenty of outdoor seating etc. The pool is 3.4 metres circular and above ground with a safety ladder, which can be removed for young children. The pool is only accessible for guests of this gite, no-one else. It is situated in the private garden of this gite. PLEASE NOTE: MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO 4 (plus a baby in travel cot). Also, there are 3 steps up to the conservatory from the kitchen.

2025 is our 18th year for the gite. We converted it from a stable with mud and cobbled stone floor and added the conservatory & porch. A very high percentage of our customers return time after time and send friends and family to enjoy the gite and the area. Le Jarrier is also home to our friendly dog and cat.

We are situated in the beautiful Alpes Mancelles which is very popular with tourists as is the lake with beach at Sille Plage / Coco Plage (only 10 mins drive from the gite). The lake has many activities, pedalos, tourist train, boat trips around the lake, Adventures in the Trees, cycle hire and so much more including bar serving food and a tourist information office. In under an hours drive you can be in Le Mans with the popular Sunday morning market, cathedral, the old town and of course the world famous 24 hour race track and museum. The picturesque village of St Leonard des Bois with it's bars and cafes, also offers canoeing, cycle hire, Tree Climbing / Adventures in the trees and much more, is approx. 12 mins drive There are also local markets, 2 chateaux Sassy and Carrouges (approx. an hours drive), museums and places of interest to visit.
