Entering the lodge you will find a handy cloakroom with plenty of storage for coats, shoes and other adventure equipment. The lodge then opens up into a cosy living area with well equipped kitchen with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The smart tv has access to Netflix (using your own account) and French TV channels while the comfy sofa is the perfect place to read some of the books we have provided to inspire you to explore or to help you relax and escape the stresses of life. The bathroom, with walk in shower, is located on the ground floor. Towels and toiletries are provided. The stairs lead to a romantic bedroom with double bed, luxurious bed linen is included. A dressing table provides a lovely space to get ready for a special event or evening out with hairdryer and hair straighteners provided. The armchair creates a cosy space to relax with the possibility to be transformed into a single bed for a child and a travel cot can also be provided on request. Outside, there is a sauna with huge floor to ceiling winter with views up into the private woodland. (additional fee for non-direct bookings) Also a patio area with picnic bench and gas barbecue for use in both summer and winter. The slightly elevated position and being surrounded by trees on three sides means the garden provides a sunny, idyllic and private spot while you can still hear the 'buzz' of activity from the lake. You will have access to the entire property and private garden.

I live close by, in Morzine, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything. I can meet you at the lodge to give you access if you wish and then leave you to enjoy this little corner of magic in peace or autonomous access is also available if you prefer. I learnt to ski with my family in Morzine in 1994 and visited every year on family ski trips until 2005. My now husband, Ryan, and I ended up working for a summer season here in 2012 after a number of winter and summer seasons working in various other resorts around the world. Morzine was meant to be our last before going back to the UK but here we still are now with our son Patrick! It was always my family's dream to buy a little place in the Portes du Soleil and in 2022 that dream became a reality when we bought our little lake cabin, Le Petit Rêve (The Little Dream). We are excited to welcome guests and hope you enjoy this little magical corner of Montriond Lake as much as we've loved creating it.

Located just 75 minutes from Geneva airport we can help with organising transport from the airport to the lodge via transfer. Alternatively, we can give you advice on using public transport to travel to the lodge. If you have driven or hired a car at the airport there is a private parking area for the homes located on the lakeside. These spaces are subject to availability but parking is free in the large public carpark directly opposite the lodge. Once at Le Petit Reve the free local bus stops just 150m away (during summer and winter seasons, Dec-Apr & July - Sept). The bus can take you up the mountain to Ardent in 5 minutes where you can access the world famous 'Portes du Soleil' ski and bike area or down the mountain to the village of Montriond or the larger town of Morzine.
