Our rural, family run B&B is found within our renovated barn. All rooms have private bathrooms and kitchenettes, two have an additional lounge and one has a double bedroom and twin bedroom with two shower room included. One double Ensuite is on the ground floor and two suites are on the mezzanine floor. Our rooms have Netflix and free WiFi. There are individual bbqs for our guests, as well as outdoor furniture and allocated sun loungers by our 7mx5m pool. Our guests also have a 20% discount in our on site tearoom.
After buying our home 18 months ago, I have become an enthusiastic DIYer. I also have a love of fishing, which is bountiful in this area. I enjoy good food and drink and love doing a barbecue for friends and family, which our new friends enjoy on a regular basis. My partner was involved intthe hotel and catering business before we moved over to France.
The area is rural, excellent for walking, cycling, fishing and kayaking. We are close to the N10 which allows easy access to many tourist attractions within 1.5 hours of the property. FUTUROSCOPE, Vallee du Singes, Angouleme with its nearby leisure lake, Poitier, Niort, Confolens, Ruffec, Limoges, La Rochelle and Ile de Re, to name a few.
We have a number of good restaurants and bars in the area and our own village bar does serve food and has its own little shop for essentials. The nearest town is 8 minutes away with supermarket, doctors and chemist.
