The house is located in the heart of the pretty village of Noizay, in the wine-growing region of Vouvray and Loire wines. Noizay is full of architectural treasures and has preserved its local heritage of noble residences. A 2-minute walk from the house, you'll find a café-restaurant with terrace and a grocery store selling fresh bread, fruit and vegetables, cold meats... A 10-minute drive by road along the Loire is the town of Amboise, famous for its royal chateau, home to some of France's greatest kings and queens, including François I, who invited Leonardo da Vinci to live and end his life at Château Clos-Lucé d'Amboise. Just a 20-minute drive away, discover Tours, the capital of the Loire Valley. Its historic quarters, with their half-timbered houses, Plumereau and Chateauneuf squares, are a must-see meeting place, with their restaurants and bars. Just 45 minutes away, the famous Beauval Zoo Park will enchant young and old alike. Chambord, Chenonceau, Chaumont, Langeais, Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Chinon, Loches: royal castles and fortresses, remarkable gardens and historic villages are all less than an hour's drive away.
