Named for the Voie Verte (greenway) that runs adjacent to the property (an excellent cycling route by the way, which goes as far as Mont St. Michel), this bed and breakfast is suitable as either a short break, or as a stopping-off point on a cycling tour of France's most beautiful and historic region. Surrounded on all sides by rolling hills and picturesque French woodland, Maison Voie Verte is a perfect getaway for guests of all ages. Featuring thoroughly modern décor and the rustic appeal of an old stone schoolhouse, this calming retreat is a gorgeous combination of vintage continental charm and twenty-first century convenience. There is ample parking for our guests and we also have secure storage for bicycles or other outdoor equipment.

The old school house has been lovingly transformed by Lois and Ian with a mind of providing a relaxed atmosphere for our guests.

Maison Voie Verte is located at the entrance of the largest national parks in France, the Parc Naturel Régional Normandie-Maine. On all sides you are surrounded by picturesque countryside, rolling hills, vineyards, orchards, farms, castles, chateaux, babbling brooks and waterfalls. There is a bar and grocery shop across the road for your convenience; and there are plenty of restaurant/cafés within a 5 km radius of Maison Voie Verte. Of course, the list of historical monuments in Normandy is practically endless, but a fairly comprehensive list can be found at the official Normandy tourism website.
