Résidence Pierre & Vacances Le Palais des Gouverneurs is located in the former Palais des Gouverneurs, in Saint-Martin-de-Ré. It offers studio and apartment accommodation with an half-covered pool heated from February to November, a fitness room, a hammam and a sauna. Set within a private park, each studio is equipped with a private bathroom, satellite TV and a kitchenette including an electric hob and dishwasher. Guests of Pierre & Vacances Le Palais des Gouverneurs can rent bikes on site and there is also a children’s playroom. Pierre & Vacances Le Palais des Gouverneurs is a 5-minute walk from the harbour the Cible and Bois Plage beaches are 2 km away. La Rochelle-Ile de Ré Airport is 20 km from the residence. Le Palais des Gouverneurs residence is located in the heart of Saint-Martin-de-Ré, a charming village characterised by its Vauban fortifications. Just a 250 m walk will take you to the port, its restaurants and shops. Set in the former "Palais des Gouverneurs", in a large private park, our residence comprises three white buildings with colourful shutters, typical of the architecture of the area. Each flat is decorated in soft tones, interspersed with splashes of colour, to make your home a cosy nest that you'll be delighted to return to after a day's adventure on the Ile-de-Ré. From February to November, you can take a dip in our swimming pool or relax on a sun lounger in the solarium.

In Charente-Maritime, opposite La Rochelle, the island, nicknamed Ré la Blanche because of its luminosity, is linked to the mainland by a 3.5 km bridge. The island of Ré, with its immense beaches, Atlantic-scented dunes, forests and salt marshes, enjoys exceptional sunshine all year round. - With a length of 30 km and a width of just 5 km, the Ile de Ré offers an exceptional setting and heritage with its ten multi-faceted villages. - A cycling kingdom, the island is dotted with 87 km of cycle paths, offering a sporting way to discover the island, as well as canoeing for water sports enthusiasts. - Climb the steps of the Phare des Baleines and the Ars bell tower. - Visit Saint-Martin-de-Ré, the island's historic capital, protected by its ramparts and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
