A converted barn built in the 1800's, beautifully restored complete with heated swimming pool for a relaxing vacation. Here you can really relax in this historic house and spend a wonderful time in a special ambience. The tastefully modern furnishings, subtle colors and original elements harmonize perfectly in the bright rooms. Enjoy your first coffee or the balmy summer evenings with cold drinks on the terrace, while the pool offers welcome refreshment on hot days. Walk through the front door and you'll find the sitting room to the right and the kitchen dining room to the left. Immediately ahead is the staircase and to the side of the staircase, is the utility room with dishwasher and washing machine and into the downstairs shower room. Up the stairs are the three bedrooms and bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are overlooking the garden and the third bedroom and bathroom are at the rear. There are board games provided in the chest (under the window) in the sitting Room. There is an additional barn where you will find a table tennis table, (table tennis bats are in the cupboard by the washing machine), darts board and boule. Please keep the table tennis table in the barn in case of rain -thank you! The BBQ needs coals which can be bought at any of the supermarkets in Ruffec or the local shop in Villefagnan Please note that currently the woodburners and fireplace are not in use.

There are numerous activities close to the house, including fishing, stand-up paddling, canoeing, kayaking and tree climbing. The Futuroscope, Palmyre Zoo, La Rochelle and the beaches of the west coast are all within an hour's drive.
