As you enter on the ground floor via some stone steps you are met with a spacious open plan lounge with ample setting, a log burner and TV leading to a fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need, the dining area comfortably seats 6 people and benefits form a downstairs toilet. Original oak stairs lead to the first floor where you will find a light and airy large double bedroom, a twin bedroom and the bathroom, the bathroom benefitting from a spacious walk-in shower. Further stairs lead up to the second floor where you will find the magnificent loft bedroom, equipped with its own coffee and tea making facilities, day bed and coffee table for those lazy mornings. Outside you have your own seating area with a modern table and chairs under a large pergola which seats 6 people. You also find your own Weber BBQ. The shared swimming pool measures 9m x 5m and is 1.3m deep is directly across from the cottage, with sunbeds and table and chairs for soaking up the sun, overlooking the garden.

We are an English family with one daughter some friendly cats and chickens that roam around the property. We love rural France, it's peaceful and unspoilt. Set in the glorious Perigord and Limosin national park, nestled in a rural hamlet of 7 houses, you will find Millstone Gites. The historic town of Chalus is just 6km drive and boasts the home of King Richard the Lionheart, a must see. With a wide range of water sports, cycling, hiking, go karting, beach lakes, historic monuments to choose from all right on your doorstep or just relax by the pool.
