Spruce Lake is situated in the heart of Haute-Vienne in Limousin near st Leonard Noblat, Bourganeuf and a short drive to lake Vassiviere a lovely main attraction in the area and is a 40 minute drive from Limoges airport. The house stands on 14 acres of land including a 6.5 acre carp lake and is surrounded by established spruce and birch trees. Spruce Lake has 2 double bedrooms and a family suite . We can cater for individuals and groups alike The location of Spruce Lake provides the perfect base for those on cycling , hiking or fishing holidays it’s also a refreshing stop over for those passing through the village traveling to or from South of France or Spain . Alison is happiest in the kitchen keeping the guests feed and watered and keeping the garden neat and tidy for our guest to enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Through the summer there are night markets in St Leonard where you get the real feel of the French community. St Leonard also has a beautiful medieval church which is 10 mins away from Sprucelake and is worth a visit . Lac vassiviere is a great place to visit with beaches water sports and a restaurant to have a drink or 2 .There is also Oradour sur gland which would be of great interest for anyone interested in the history of the 2nd world war . There are also many pretty villages to visit in conjunction with the main city of Limoges .
