Welcome to this little corner of nature! Located in a very small hamlet, very close to Joigny and 5 km from the motorway exit, this house is ideal for family holidays or weekends in the countryside. Built in the last century, this house is a typical farmhouse of the region, which is called a "farmhouse". With its exposed beams, terracotta tiles and brick window surrounds, it has all the Burgundian charm, just a few kilometres from Paris (barely 150 km). With its three bedrooms and sofa bed, it can accommodate up to 8 people. It consists of two levels. On the ground floor you will find a large kitchen, which, as in all French farmhouses of the twentieth century, serves as the dining room. Far from today's fitted kitchens, this room retains all the charm of yesteryear with its gas stove and decorative fireplace. You will also enjoy a large living room with wood stove and its television on which the children can watch their DVD. A double bedroom and a desk with a sofa bed will welcome guests who prefer to avoid stairs. Upstairs, you will have three bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed and two bedrooms with a single bed. The whole is very comfortable, with spacious and warm rooms. You will have access to the whole house. On the other hand, we ask you not to go to the barn (part located in the extension of the house). The property is fenced (wire mesh): we can therefore accept a dog (provided that it does not scratch under the fence). The house is equipped with a sofa bed: it can, on express request, be used by 2 additional children, bringing the capacity to a maximum of 8 people. In addition, we provide a small tent for children who would like to camp in the garden. However, please note that towels and household linen in general (apart from sheets) are not provided: you must bring them.

Nermin is the owner of the house: he and his family live in the Netherlands. Thus, it is Nathalie from the Yonne Concierge Service who will welcome you. Nathalie will contact you a few days before your stay to set your arrival time with you: she will be present to welcome you, will be reachable throughout your stay and will be present when you leave. She will be able to advise you on the tourist possibilities of the region: do not hesitate to contact her before your stay.

The house is located in a very small hamlet of only a few houses, 3 km from a village, Précy-sur-Vrin. The nearest towns are Saint-Julien-du-Sault at 11 km or Joigny at 16 km where you will find all the shops. All this less than 150 km from Paris! The region offers many possibilities for discovery, including the cities of Art and History of Joigny, Sens or Auxerre, the medieval city of Saint-Fargeau and its famous castle, the fortified castle under construction of Guédelon, the Colette House, the Abbey of Pontigny or the famous Basilica of Vézelay, not to mention the incomparable fresco of the nearby Church of La Ferté-Loupière... but also water activities at the Lac du Bourdon or more simply the municipal swimming pools of Courtenay, Joigny or Auxerre, the Boutissaint Natural Park, remarkable gardens, hiking, golf... and of course, the vineyards of Chablis, Irancy, Saint-Bris-le-Vineux and Joigny... And if you really don't want to get back in the car, all you have to do is cross the street and go for a walk in the forest! We are in the countryside: public transport is scarce and impractical. It is therefore strongly recommended to come by car. On site, you can easily use your bikes: don't hesitate to bring them with you.
