Welcome to an outdoor adventure where you will relax in comfort and also be free to explore the mediaeval city of Domfront en Poiraie and historic Normandy. Our barrel is a chance to get back to nature & recharge your batteries Situated in a secluded spot overlooking a lake on our campsite you will surrounded by nature & birdsong. Parking is available next to the barrel. The cabin is an authentic Calvados barrel fitted with a double bed and table. The lights are solar powered. There is seating with a fire pit & BBQ. A eco friendly shower & small toilet. Linen and towels are all included An outdoor kitchen with gas hotplates & washing up facility. For anything else it is a short walk down the hill to the communal kitchen, fridge, a hob, coffee machine, a kettle, a freezer and a microwave. Communal shower block with toilets & hot showers Nearby 5 minute drive to the beautiful Medieval city of Domfront en Poiraie with it's shops,bars, restaurants & Chateau Close to many of the cycle routes, velsoscenic, voie verte. 5 minute drive to the forest d'Andaine ideal for hiking or cycling 15 minutes to stop off at Lonlay Abbey for some delicious biscuits. 20 minutes to the lake or golf course at La Ferte-Mace 20 minutes from the golf course, Casino and lake at Bagnoles De L'Orne. 1hr 15 drive to Mont St Michel 1hr 30 to Caen or many of the D-Day landing beaches. For anything else it is a short walk down the hill to the communal kitchen, fridge, a hob, coffee machine, a kettle, a freezer and a microwave. Communal shower block with toilets & hot showers House Rules: - Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 11am. - Smoking is not allowed. - There are free parking on premises parking facilities available at the property. - Pets are allowed at the property, charged at 2e per night & must be kept under control at all times.
