The Abberley Shepherd’s Hut is brand new at Ockeridge Rural Retreats. A wonderful base for couples in need of some alone time and space to reconnect. It’s a light and bright space decorated with a country vibe, featuring tactile fabrics and oak finishes. Enter the open plan living space. Two comfy armchairs sit side by side looking out across open countryside. Enjoy the peace and quiet as you get lost in a good book. Or watch some television on the wall mounted flatscreen tv. You’ll find the comfy bed to the right-hand side of the hut. Sited in front of a lovely picture window you can laze in bed with a mug of steaming hot coffee and a great view. The kitchen is beautifully stylish, coming with a traditional Belfast sink and everything you need to cater for your stay. Dine or enjoy drinks at the breakfast bar, which again is perfectly placed for window views across the fields. And the ensuite has a sink, loo and a large walk-in shower – ideal for washing away the grime of a long day out walking in the hills! Outside you have your own patio space, made private with a rather cool green wall. Take a seat on the rather funky seats and enjoy time together long into the night. Fully heated with gas central heating, radiators and heated towel rail in the shower room. Abberley is fully prepared to keep you warm and cosy whatever the season. Free Wifi
