This delightful and charming end terrace house, which dates from 1877 and is a listed category C building of architectural and historical interest. It is lies within Jedburgh’s conservation area. Jedburgh is a town and a former Royal Burgh in the Scottish Borders and a traditional county town of the historic county of Roxburghshire. It is 10 miles (16 km) from the Border of England. Jedburgh lies on the A68 between the cities Edinburgh and Newcastle upon Tyne.
My name is Georgie, I own, manage, clean and prepare Abbey House for guests, I’m married to Edward, who works on Lothian Estates for the Kerr family who were Clan Chiefs during years back to the 1400’s. We live approximately 10 minutes from the property, we are available to assist in any way if required to do so, we will not interact with guests unless required to do so.
Abbey House is perfect for exploring the Scottish Borders, the beautiful scenery and the many different Castles and Abbeys. Steeped in History throughout the year there is lots of events which celebrate the traditions of the Border Towns.
