An-Stac is a detached one bedroom property with a open plan kitchen/dining room/living room and bathroom. We have a large outdoor area with a picnic table for you to enjoy the endless views down the sound of sleat and out to the small Isles. With being in the South of the Island you get to escape the crowds of the North and you can truly relax,unwind and rest with all the comforts of home. Aird is a quiet township 3.5 miles from Armadale ferry terminal. It is a single track road with passing places from Ardvasar to Aird. We have no shops with the nearest food store in Armadale 1 min from the ferry terminal. Broadford which is 18 miles from Aird has a coop or if coming via the ferry there is a co-op in Mallaig or Morrisons in Fort William. Please plan a food shop before your arrival. Please note there is no public transport to Aird, the bus service from Broadford terminates at Armadale ferry terminal, so a car is a must.

Aird boasts the beginning of the walk to the point of Sleat beach-"Camas Daraich" please visit walkhighlands for more info. Ardvasar hotel is 3 miles away which has a public bar and serves lunches and evening meals. The clan Donald center which has a museum and a café along with a ruined castle and garden walks is 3.5 miles from Aird. Be sure to visit cafe1925 in Ardvasar for a yummy lunch!
