Quietly situated, the Alban and Abbey guesthouse offers room-only accommodation, just 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Inverness. With free private parking and free WiFi throughout, it is close to the city’s restaurants, museums, and theatres. The rooms include a Freeview TV, alarm clock, and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite bath or shower rooms have a hairdryer. Numerous eateries can be found in the Eastgate Shopping Centre, which is just 15 minutes’ walk from the house. The property does not offer breakfast. Alban and Abbey House guests can take a 15-minute stroll over the River Ness, towards Inverness Castle. Inverness Railway Station is just 13 minutes’ walk away and Inverness Golf Club is a 5-minute drive.

The Alban and Abbey has 18 en suite rooms comprising of single, double, twin, family of 3, and triple rooms. Each room has all the facilities required for a comfortable stay including en-suite shower rooms, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, Freeview TV and free WiFi. Alban Abbey are run as one unit by the Rowan Guest House Group who also owns the Ardross Glencairn on Ardross Street. It is at this location that reception for check in is situated. All check in is carried out from here, but all amenities required for your stay are situated within Alban & Abbey. Menus for places to eat breakfast and dinner are on display as there is no food served at this property. There is also information on things to do in and around Inverness and a map of Inverness with a key on display in both houses. Although reception is off site, one of the owners lives on the premises for any questions or help you may need during your stay.
The Alban Abbey is run by a small management team including 2 generations of the Rowan Family, with the 3rd generation “helping out” now and then! We have a fantastic team of managers and room staff to make sure your stay is an enjoyable one and we look forward to meeting you soon.

Please be aware that this property does not offer breakfast or any other meals. All rooms are on a room-only basis.

Check-in will not be at the property directly, but at the Ardross Glencairn Guesthouse, which is approximately 300 yards away. An email will be sent from the property at time of booking with instructions regarding check in.

All payments for your stay will be taken from the card used at the time of booking. This is usually debited the evening before arrival. If you wish to pay with a different card, please contact the property at least 2 days before arrival to ensure they have the correct card details for payment. However, if you wish to pay with cash, this is not a problem and can be done so on check-in. The property require 2 days notice before the date of check-in to ensure your card is not charged.

Please note that this property cannot accommodate stag, hen and similar parties.

All payments for your stay will be taken from the card used at the time of booking. This will be debited 1-3 days prior to check in.
