Set around a pretty courtyard on the friendly owner’s working farm, as a former milking parlour they’re both full of character with exposed beams, brick and high vaulted ceilings. They boast underfloor heating and make a wonderful base from which to explore the attractions of the surrounding area. In nearby Middlewich (10 minutes) you’ll find ample amenities together with a beautiful meandering canal system perfect for tow path cycling or strolls, and 15 minutes in the other direction is the pretty half-timbered town of Nantwich which offers good shopping and quite uniquely a seasonal outdoor salt swimming pool. Halfway between Chester (45 minutes) and Manchester (60 minutes) the location is within easy reach of a whole host of visitor attractions including many National Trust properties such as Tatton Park, Little Moreton Hall and Dunham Massey which can all be reached in around 30 minutes.
