Bourne of 30 years’ previous experience in the Scottish Hospitality Industry and started when the family bought their first property, Pitstruan, an alluring property perched on the water’s edge of Loch Feochan with fantastic sea views, nestled in the serenity of Lerags Glen yet within a few miles of the bustling town of Oban, “The Gateway to the Isles”. Following on from the success of Pitstruan Cottage, other property owners in the area asked Colin to market and or manage their properties at times when they weren’t able to. Over the years this arrangement turned out to be very successful and West Coast Cottages quickly grew to the thriving business it is today.
