Our property is a detached house with car parking on a private drive. The booking is for a double room with en suite which is upstairs in our home. We’re a family of three with two dogs. Guests have access to their room, and can also use our garden. Guests can use our kitchen in the mornings between 7am and 9am to have breakfast however cannot use the kitchen for cooking their own foods apart from using the microwave. We do not offer a room cleaning service or bed making, rooms are cleaned before and after the booking, however for longer stays we will refresh the bathroom, and provide you with clean towels. Linen and towels are included in the price. We offer a continental breakfast included in the price, this is served in the downstairs dining area between 7am and 9am.

I am a friendly person who loves to chat and learn about people. I am mum of two, married to my husband and we have two little dogs !

The area is on the outskirts of Truro in a small rural village in Shortlanesend. We are only 5 minutes off the main A30 an very centrally placed on Cornwall for exploring all areas. The village has a pub, and a small shop, there is a cycling lane nearby which takes you into the city and there are electric bikes around the corner that can be hired via an app. Down the road we have a wonderful woods called Idless and a little tea room called Cows and Sows. For any other facilities it would require a drive into the city of nearby costal towns. There is a bus that runs roughly hourly into the city where you can get buses and trains around Cornwall. Please note though getting around Cornwall is much easier with a car, if you aim to use public transport be prepared that it will take up a large part of the day getting from a to b. You may find it easier to stay in one of the larger towns in the county as getting a bus to and from us will add more time on your journey.
