This Charming cottage is situated in Pocklington town centre, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Pocklington is a small market town nestled in the foot of the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. An ideal location for walkers and cyclists. Or escape the madness of Yorks hen and stag parties and stay in this quieter location but have easy access to the historic City. Unique British seaside towns are also not far away, making a perfect location for families.
Burnby Hall gardens well worth a visit. The Yorkshire Wolds are a short distance away, offering some great walks and cycle routes. Beautiful scenery. Pocklington Canal is nice to walk along, there are boat trips available from Melbourne. Allerthorpe Lakeland park is close by offering water sports and an Aqua park. Plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Lovely village pubs a short drive away. Good regular bus service to York and Hull Parking at the property is on the street, but no charge or time restrictions. Buses run every 30 minutes into York and Hull.
