The cottage has a wonderfully relaxed feel, allowing you to unwind and make the most of the wonderful surroundings.

Situated just yards from Loch Fyne, this spacious, detached cottage is perfect for special occasions and family gatherings - or even couples looking for a special honeymoon location.  Sitting towards the end of 'The Avenue', Avenue Cottage enjoys spectacular elevated views out over the loch.  The cottage has just been tastefully refurbished to provide a cosy and comfortable space to enjoy for the duration of your holiday. The living room has huge picture windows and patio doors, allowing you to make the most of the views, and also open the doors up to allow the outside inside on nice summer days! Outside the living room window, there is a pond with water lilies, which just finishes he scene perfectly. Downstairs also features a large open plan kitchen/dining area, with snug (sofa and second TV), two spacious double bedrooms, the main bathroom (shower), and the second WC, and a boot room as you come in.  Heading upstairs, you'll find a further two bedrooms (double, and very spacious kingsize master), plus a dressing room off the master (can be used as a kids room). There are 2 single sofa beds for persons 9 & 10, which are currently located one in the master bedroom, and one in a downstairs bedroom (you are welcome to move them around to suit). The cottage is located in the outskirts of the village - only 10-15 minutes walk to the various local pubs/restaurants, including The George and their Garden Bar which hosts locally renowned live music events throughout the summer months.  The Pier is also a 15 minute walk - with the monthly Inveraray Farmers' market (check InspireInveraray FB page for details/dates - normally the third Saturday of the month). Pets are welcome - maximum of 2, charged at GBP10 each per week.  We would ask that you keep them downstairs and off soft furnishings (or bring suitable blankets to cover them). There is parking for multiple vehicles in the private driveway.

Avenue Cottage is set in around an acre of its own grounds, overlooking Loch Fyne. The fantastic views will have you sitting gazing out of the windows for hours on end! Sitting in the outskirts of Inveraray, it is within walking distance to the Castle, Jail and various great places to eat and drink. We are well placed for exploring the rest of Argyll - just under an hour to Oban (and ferries to various islands), a similar distance over to Dunoon & around 45 mins to the historic Kilmartin Glen
