Formerly a stable for Ballygate House, this quaint abode has been lovingly transformed into a haven of comfort, offering guests a peaceful escape with stunning vistas of the Waveney Valley. Conveniently located just a short stroll from the town centre, Ballygate Stable is an ideal choice for those who prefer to explore on foot and immerse themselves in the local charm. Guests can meander through the town's streets, indulging in the offerings of independent shops and dining establishments, while also taking advantage of the excellent bus and train services to further explore the surrounding area.
Approaching Ballygate Stable, guests are greeted by a short sloping pathway leading to a gate, beyond which lies a secluded walled garden and terrace, complete with a table and bench for al fresco relaxation. Stepping through the entrance door, visitors are welcomed into the inviting garden room, offering panoramic views of the river and furnished with comfortable chairs to fully appreciate the scenery. Continuing through to the spacious open-plan sitting room seamlessly integrated with a kitchen, dining area and Smart television, providing a cosy space for relaxation and entertainment. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials, including an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with a small freezer compartment. For restful nights, a charming small bedroom awaits, featuring a comfortable 4’6” double bed and an en-suite shower room.
