Bank House provides a spacious ground floor room with a king size bed, sofa and walk in wet room, also ideal for anyone requiring disabled facilities.....we also have an upstairs suite consisting of one room with a double bed, an adjacent lounge and an en suite shower room, and a smaller budget room with en suite. Unfortunately we have had to make the difficult decision to not accept dogs any more (other than guide dogs), due to lack of respect and consideration for other guests). Guide dogs are permitted, but not therapy dogs, sorry. All current reservations where we have already agreed in writing to take dogs will be honoured, and are already noted, but no future bookings will be taken with dogs, and anyone arriving with a dog that we are unaware of will not be allowed to bring their dog in.. All bedding and towels are provided at no additional cost. Please advise us in advance by message of any dietary needs you have, as I do not necessarily keep all alternative items in all the time, if it has a low useage. Please note we are NOT in Thurso. We are 5 miles outside of Thurso.

Bank House is situated in the beautiful costal village of Castletown, some 5 miles from Thurso and 16 miles from Wick. The popular tourist attraction of John O'Groats is nearby at approx. 25 miles away. The local beach at Castletown is a ten minute walk from the house. Please be mindful of neighbouring properties when parking and avoid blocking neighbours driveways. Thank You
