The nearest train station is Sheerness where you can find a taxi or take the 360 bus service to Minster Village.

This former alehouse was once frequented by Charles Dickens. and visited by the painter Hogarth as he walked to Minster from Queenborough in 1732 whilst on his infamous 5-day exploration of the area- "Hogarth's Frolic: The Five Days' Peregrination Around The Isle Of Sheppey" Now beautifully renovated brimming with charm and character, we are delighted to continue to welcome guests. To the north-east of the island is the market town and port of Sheerness; to the west is the historic town of Queenborough. For nature lovers a visit to Elmley Nature Reserve (Only 8 mins by car) is a must, huge skies, wilderness and wildlife.
